* Erwin Temple Praise Dancers of Erwin Temple CME Church, Cooleemee, will celebrate their fifth anniversary 6 p.m. today. They will perform for the first half of the celebration, followed by guest praise dance groups from other churches and organizations.

* The Male Choir will celebrate their first anniversary at 5 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 602 S. Salisbury Ave., Granite Quarry. In and out of town groups will participate. The Rev. Rickey Johnson, pastor.
