By Katie Scarvey, Salisbury Post The Drama Department of South Rowan High School will present "Ten Little Indians" at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, May 7-8 -- and it's free. The play is directed by first-year drama teacher Sarah Drinkard, who is well known for her acting career at Catawba College. Set on a remote island off the Devonshire coast in the early 1930s, the play tells the story of 10 unacquainted guests invited to a party by a mysterious host. When they are all gathered together, a voice accuses each one of them of a murder that each committed, but for which no one could be prosecuted. One by one, guests start to die. Each murder fits with the "Ten Little Indians" rhyme on the mantelpiece. And there's no way off the island. If you're looking for some clever, creepy fun this weekend, look no further. The cast includes: Seth Arey, Jerae Davis, Jessica Propst, Jesse Adam Harwood, Michael DeLarghy, Stephanie Hill, Timothy Campbell, Tim Brandt, Donald Johnson, Maria Corriher and Thorin Thompson. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. Contact Katie Scarvey at 704-797-4270 or kscarvey@salisburypost.com.
